Roban UH-1 Huey 800 Complete Exhaust Kit

The factory exhaust on the Roban 800 Huey is best classified as "representative". TGM has produced a kit that is thorough and accurate. I have been able to compare to the full size UH-1H and the kit is spot on. Installation was pretty straight forward, starting with a little gentle back and forth twisting on the original PVC tube and it popped loose. Using the included ring, I carefully marked the area to be cut and outlined it with 1/16 tape to prevent chipping since it's a finished model. After cutting and sanding the opening, The new parts were sanded and primed. I used flat black, with oversprays of highly thinned steel, rust and gunmetal to get the desired effect. I shimmed the upper backside .120 to get the correct angle for my heli. A bit of epoxy to mount and I now have an accurate exhaust. You don't really appreciate how poor the original is until you add this. Thanks Tyler, another well designed and executed upgrade!
