The uniLIGHT Ultra-Power afterburner rings are the first thrust nozzles based on emitter technology in the market. Specially manufactured aluminum core PCBs for this application is what makes the assembly of the high-performance emitters and the required heat dissipation possible. In addition, one cooling duct behind every emitter is adhered to dissipate enough heat during operation. Without any further air cooling, the rings can be operated continuously for only 1-2 minutes and therefore, the mixing to the throttle channel should only happen in the upper section.The light output of the emitter rings is gigantic high and even in an area of >120° to all ring sides visible.
