Built on the strength of a dual-band 900MHz/2.4GHz RF system, the TANDEM X18RS is equipped with the integrated TD-ISRM RS RF module. This advanced module supports a variety of protocols, including TW and TD, offering flexible RF configuration options.
The TD-ISRM RS module enables dual 2.4GHz TW RF functionality and supports simultaneous operation in both ACCESS 2.4GHz and R9 modes through a single module. Using SBUS IN/OUT connections, both ACCESS and R9 receivers can be linked to provide a redundant system, boosting signal dependability—especially vital during extended-range RC operations.
The newly reinforced antenna handle is designed for superior impact resistance, ideal for rugged outdoor use. Its thicker, ergonomic casing offers a comfortable grip while maintaining optimal antenna efficiency. The redesigned structure ensures more stable and effective signal transmission, delivering improved control performance in flight.
Additionally, the X18RS includes two external antenna ports that allow for the installation of extra 2.4GHz and 900MHz antennas. These upgrades enhance LoRa mode capabilities and significantly extend the control range.
The X18RS features an upgraded 800×480 resolution screen, offering excellent readability even in bright sunlight. Core components such as knobs and trim caps are constructed from metal, ensuring durability and a rugged feel for outdoor use.
Its MC18 gimbals, crafted from CNC-machined metal, provide a premium tactile experience. These gimbals can be adjusted from their default 60° throw to a 45° position, allowing pilots to customize control input to their preference.
